In keeping with Google’s request March 13, 2009, that publishers using AdSense to monetize their site have a transparent and available privacy policy we offer the following:

1. The website "factfictionandconjecture.ca" has decided to opt in to Google’s “interest-based advertising” which uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to collect data in the ad serving process instead of remaining with the older “contextual-based advertising” in which advertisements are served based on keywords. Users may opt out of the use of the Dart cookie by visiting the Google Advertising opt-out page or alternately opt out of a third party vendor's use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

2. The website "factfictionandconjecture.ca" accepts input from website visitors via Email. The collection process is completely voluntary, visitors sending said input (a purported close encounter for instance) which is then posted on the Internet at the Webmaster's discretion. To protect the sender’s identity only first names are published.

3. No sensitive personal information (Email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers, etc.) is shared with any third party, nor is any requested.

4. The website "factfictionandconjecture.ca" is not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites with which we may be linked.
